Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to lead our efforts in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures for our cloud-based solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud security best practices, compliance requirements, and threat landscape. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients’ data, infrastructure, and applications in the cloud.

Responsibilities

  1. Design, implement, and maintain security controls and configurations for cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  2. Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security risks in cloud infrastructure and applications.
  3. Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  4. Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and respond to security alerts in a timely manner.
  5. Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies, roles, and permissions in cloud environments.
  6. Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps processes.
  7. Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance the security posture of cloud environments.
  8. Provide security guidance and training to internal teams and clients on cloud security best practices and procedures.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer, Cloud Security Architect, or similar role, with at least 10 years of experience in cloud security.
  3. In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  4. Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and standards such as CIS, NIST, SOC 2, and GDPR.
  5. Experience with security assessment tools and techniques, including vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  6. Strong understanding of network security, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and data protection mechanisms in cloud environments.
  7. Certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate are a plus.
  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
